SHAMANIC PERFORMANCE TRAINING for ACTORS, DANCERS, EDUCATORS, ACTIVISTS and GLOBAL HEALERS

This is a unique, creative training method developed by poet-playwright, actor and stage director, and author David Sparenberg, utilizing his work THE GREEN TROUDABOUR SOURCE BOOK, Original Shamanic Writing for Actor Training & Performance.

A dynamic training and exploratory technique for actors, actresses, dancers, educators, healers and activists, dedicated to creative planetary change through cultural Greening, honoring diversity, furthering biotic and interfaith dialogue, finding personal balance, working toward inner and international peace, and helping to restore the Earth and contribute to “re-inventing the human being at the species level.”

“To create beauty in depth is to return to sanity; to return to sanity is to restore power to the dreamcatcher of Earth; to restore power is to mend the web of creation with reverence for life. This is the shaman’s way. This is how I give it.”

SHAMANIC PERFORMANCE TRAINING incorporates components of the Council of All Beings created by John Seed and Joanne Macy and includes, as well, the Land Speech of Chief Seattle as a poignant example of Eco-Tragedy.

Oh God,
I just realized they're playing a show I was on months ago. I'm the first caller, and I tried something new. It was awful.lol. I like to experiment, but I should never do it on air!!! But, you get an idea of what the show is like, and how cool Nyla and Michael are.

Tony, My Friend,
That's easily done. Contact them. They have a recorder you just click and it plays the previous weeks recitings. You can hear some really great Poetry, and alot of first time callers. If you go to my "MySpace" you will see Nyla and Michael Quigg's Speakeasycafe Ad. Click on her picture and send her a message. I'm sure they'd love new callers and listeners. Friend always, Rain..

Great input already coming through in this group-
Like the sound of the Speakeasycafe-Rain.
I guess what people could do is record over there and then post a link back to it on this site-

At the moment we are not direct uploading videos to this site so the above might be an option-

Hello everyone, I mostly read at open mic nights, but also belong to a writing group with whom we meet regularly and read out and critique each others' work. Some years ago, I also run a monthly poetry evening at home, where I invited friends (poets and poetry lovers) to read either their work or the poems they love.
Rain, I not that great on the web, but I am going to check out your tips, thanks everyone for being here, and we want to hear all of you sometime!

My mistake about Rexroth on YouTube. He can be found reading one poem. Better to Google, but keep in mind these are Beat Poets, some of which I tired of. Rexroth is older than most beat poets. Poetry was filled with politcal views...most leaning far left. Looking back, I find my whole involvement with the Bohemian scene superficial...I just liked wearing black. :)
