Site rules In addition to or support of the Terms of Service detailed by Ning in the Site footer- We ask you not to post any material that is likely to be considered as generally offensive, sexually explicit, or racially motivated by the majority of other members. If you are posting a poem that contains writing that may be considered graphic in nature- please indicate as much in the title box of the work you are posting.Please bear in mind also that this is a main stream poetry forum and therefore use best judgment when deciding to post certain writings.Any work posted considered offensive by the Site will be deleted. We ask also that the sending of bulk personal messages to other groups/friends on this site- is limited to a level that is reasonable. We ask all members to exercise respect and consideration to other members in all their communications with them. This extends also to using a level/quality of English (grammar/spelling etc) considered by the Site to be acceptable for use in a writers forum such as ours [this does not relate to the actual content poems- but is concerned with other correspondence/ messages/posts or similar posted for others to read on the Site] We have introduced limits on blog posts/poetry forum posts that can be made. The limits have been put in place to help all members get a more even share of visibility for their work.Please adhere to these guidelines for the continued good of the Site. Limits as follows Maximum of 2 blog posts per day per member and a maximum of 2 poetry forum or critique forum poem posts per day per member This gives each member the opportunity if required to upload 4 poems per day- Regarding photos- The maximum number that can be hosted on the site at any one time by one member is 20 Music/songs- you can add up to 10 songs, each may be up to 7MB in size (We support songs in the .mp3 file format). PLEASE DO NOT POST IMAGES OR PHOTOS WITH YOUR POETRY. We also ask members not to post excessively long poems/other texts in any area of the site including blogs. This would include for instances long extracts from books for example.. These limits and guidelines have been put in place to try to preserve bandwidth for poetry related activity. Failure to observe these limits or any of the site rules might result in a member's access to the site being withdrawn without notice. Please send a personal message to 'Poetrydances' if you wish to let us know that a possible infringement of these guidelines has taken place(your message will be treated in confidence).
